Jason and Libby had an amazing day filled with great friends, and loving family members. They really thought about the all the cool little details for their big day and really showed. From the yellow flip flops, the amazing colors of the flowers, and the basket of goodies for all the children at the wedding. I just LOVED the "we do" sign at the table, go etsy!!!! Even though the rain couldn't hold off, and the ceremony was switched to the indoor, Libby and Jason didn't care, they just went with the flow and had an amazing time. I've never seen so many people dance at a wedding in my whole life. Chicken Dance, macarena, THRILLER!!!! I'm so glad we were there to capture all the little moments from such an outstanding wedding. Libby and Jason you truly have great family and friends, it showed throughout the night how many people care for you two, and the strong bond you and Jason have for each other. We wish you nothing but an eternity of happiness, lots of laughs and we hope you keep on stunnin' cause you're pretty good at it ;)

Ed and Cathy had a quaint gathering of friends and family at the Portsmouth Elks. One thing really stands out from their ceremony that I just loved. We see a lot of weddings, and time and time again we listen to hired Justice of the peace's that don't really know the couple, or priests talk about things like rings signify eternity, the circle of love and all that jazz. Their JP talked about what made them a perfect match for each other. From their horoscopes to most importantly how opposites attract. Cathy being airy and weightless and Ed a hard working grounded individual. Their strong personalities balance one another, and they are A beautiful match indeed! Never a dull moment, never a day with out laughter, and to see how grateful Cathy's kids are to having a caring new Dad is breath taking! Thanks so much for having us be apart of your day, it was magical!

Another great NH wedding, another beautiful couple, and our first wedding of the season. Ryan & Alisha The Governors Inn, Rochester NH

Ryan and Alisha were married on September 19'th at the wonderful Governors Inn, located in Rochester NH. It was a fun filled day with loving family, a TON of friends (do you see this massive wedding party my gosh!) Alisha has such great style, a beautiful gown, the cutest pink bouquets, and fun little details (The Awesome Just Married Sign) made pictures very easy and fun and I recommend my brides to search for little things like this that are going to make your wedding photos different from everyone else's!
The DJ's ( http://www.dj-entertainment.com ) were great! They provided hilarious props and they were extremely well organized we would surely recommend for your event, as well as the Governors Inn, it's hard to fine nice venues in NH these days!

Alisha I'm sad we won't be chatting via email every couple weeks about your wedding, but it was fun, we had a blast and we hope you both love your photographs!

I'm the first to admit that this blog is way overdue. We are very swamped with weddings right now and I really wanted to spend time editing these blog photos. I think it's safe to say that these images are the best of the year. Everything just fell into place, the lighting, the limo ride to the New Castle commons let us create some beautiful images with it's sweet New England seaside charm I enjoy so much. Allyssa and Matt welcomes us with open arms to their wedding! A great crowd, a great venue and an AMAZING!! band. We highly recommend all our planning brides out there to skip the DJ and hire The Lisa Love Experience out of Boston. This group can not only cover everything from Bon Jovi to Lady GAGA but they incorporate the crowd and Lisa is very funny and outgoing -not to mention really cute!
As you can see by the 17 images that await you below, we had a really hard time editing down this batch of photos. The scenery was so just gorgeous, and we always love our couples who are willing to go that extra mile for their photographs. We had this couple climbing every which way over the rocks, we love you two for that.
A huge thanks for having us at your memorable wedding.

Where's Waldo? We said the same thing and it never gets old haha. Anyway Waldo, Me lies near Belfast and South East of Waterville. Our Rain Rain go away.. chants didn't help, it was a torrential down pour kind of day. This put a damper on outdoor photos (but who doesn't love umbrellas!!) but it didn't effect the spirits of everyone there. Everyone still had a good time and enjoyed the tented ceremony and the reception was held at Stone Crest Events.
Kristi and Ryan had a great group of guys and gals to help them out throughout the day, They danced they sang, they ate delicious blue berry cake and of course they loved.
It was a great day!

Heidi and Payde are a special couple. I'm blessed to visit with these two quiet frequently at the restaurant i manage. They are a really fun couple, with big charm. Just the nicest possible people you'll ever meet! Their closest friends and family came together on Lake Winnipesaukee for a lovely beach ceremony. It was the perfect place where everyone could stand above and look down on the ceremony. Payde put his soul into the details of the wedding. The dock was lined with fresh birch trees, as well as the tent and twinkly lights surrounded the place. It was just stunning. Who says you can't have a backyard wedding with class? Picnic baskets filled with goodies were provided for their guests which is such a good idea and very cute too! The weather was frightening for a while with it's harsh thunder booms but about 10 minuets before the ceremony it cleared off and the sun started to shine rays down on us right during the ceremony! Even the rain gods know how special this couple is..

Of course Dan and I wish all the blessing in the world to these too and there is no doubt we'll work together again.

This was a "Real Maine Wedding" is what we heard all day! From the captain of the sailboat the girls entered on, to the many guests who had the pleasure of attending Matt and Danielle's beautiful wedding!
There were surprises around every corner, The sailboat entrance takes the cake, but the amazing lighthouse location at the Nonantum resort, a photo-booth at the reception to a beautiful tent made from wood and sails from a legit mask.
Danielle and Matt are NOT your average couple! They LOVE TO LAUGH! The ceremony was hilarious although heart warming (i actually held back some tears too!)
Everything about this wedding was super fun and that definitely shows through the photographs! This is the most photos we have uploaded for a wedding, we just couldn't narrow them down!

We had the pleasure of hanging out and photographing our friends Andy & Michelle who you've all seen before! They are a cute! photogenic couple that loves all things vintage, just like us! Our styles compliment each other so well! They got dressed up in their wedding gear only 20 days after their small private ceremony in CT, and we roamed around Salem, MA finding little nooks and crannies to shoot in along the way.

We had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful couples wedding June 20'th.
The wedding was small and the colors big, The love for Brett & Megan was the BIGGEST. We enjoy small weddings just for this reason. With your close friends and family surrounding you, your sure to have a spectacular day.
OH! and I just love when we can avoid the rain, and stay outside for the ceremony!!! Tents are no fun!

The ceremony took a place on a dock, right on the water! It was short sweet and on to the ceremony where we enjoyed a very welcoming environment by all their friends and family and it just makes us love our jobs so much more! It shows you can have a wedding, on a budget and it will still be AWESOME!
Thanks again to Kyle and Julie Ricker for recommending us (& we want to see pics of Angus's new girl<3)

The Favorite Wedding.

It was absolute pleasure to be apart of this stunning wedding. As you can see every detail was carefully thought out, colors were matched perfectly and the pinks stood out against the heavily mossed backdrops perfectly. The event took place at the Three Chimneys Inn, located in Durham, Nh. A very quaint place with a ton of New Hampshire Charm. Evan Favorite & Kera Bissoncreated the perfect stress free atmosphere. Everything about the day was fun, filled with laughter and you could tell, it was really "them"!
A HUGE thanks goes out to Tiffany Roy for hiring us for this event. It was a blast to photograph! A photographers dream, as we said to each other all night long!

Jez & Sharyon got married March 27'th at Hampton beach. I was so happy we were able to get outside just before sundown *and i mean JUST before haha. It was a formal yet relaxed wedding on a Friday evening. Having a relaxed couple sets the mood for the guests and bridal party. The groomsmen and bridesmaids were so relaxed just helping Sharyon get ready and waiting for the ceremony to be on it's way.
Although we were hoping to get beachy photos before the ceremony, time just didn't allow thats okay though..
I think we got some beautiful shots of this classic New England beach theme wedding.

Jason & Shauna The Meeting House, Tiverton, RI November 1'st 08

Our Last wedding of our second season out. A nice day in RI to wrap up our season was all we needed. Shauna and Jason are the most down to earth, calm, collective people we have had all year. Their great spirits carried throughout their short winded ceremony, finger food reception, and their quaint gathering at the Meeting House in Tiverton, RI. They couldn't have had a warmer day!!! We left NH wrapped in top the line polartech fleeces, gloves and scarfs to shoot all day in short sleeved shirts!
A lovely catering company call Smoke and Pickles filled everyones tummies with an array of finger foods. From grilled pizza, lobster rolls, smoked chicken, and traditional lentil tortillas stuffed with curried goodies!! Everybody at the wedding really loved the short, hilarious ceremony well spoken by Jason's college buddy PJ, who was an absolute doll and pleasure to meet!
We can't thank this couple enough for having us be apart of their humorous planning emails, the actual wedding and a future thanks to many more hilarious email we will share together. We REALLY hope you enjoy the photos!!

Megan's Senior Portraits.

So occasionally time allows us to do other types of photography. That hasn't been too often this year. We had the pleasure of shooting long time friends, (practically family) Katelyn and Megan Fontaine. Megan is a senior at Kingswood this year and we were so excited to get to capture some unique shots for her. I think they'll really stand out in her yearbook since we took her to Kittery Maine, a different scenery from Wolfeboro! We visit Seapoint beach, Fort McCleary, and some randoms persons barn that we all fell in love with!
We brought Katy along to get some amazing sister shots, you can see the love!

Derek & Melissa- Nantucket, MA

Derek and Melissa had an intimate wedding right on the beach on Nantucket Island.
A first time visit there for them and us. What a beautiful island, and not mobbed this time of year.
Derek and Melissa accompanied by their three wonderful daughters, and grandparents had and easygoing, relaxed wedding. Derek is a firefighter in Derry, NH and was dressed in the traditional formal fireman suite.
The minister was great, he made sure the girls were right there through the whole ceremony, and didn't let them get too distracted, which is a task in itself. The girls were so excited they could all call themselves sisters!
Beautiful couple, beautiful daughters.
We all had a great time scooting around in the rented jeep, although Melissa and I could stand never trying to get into the back of one of those things again haha.

Derek and Melissa are holding a Reception in Manchester NH on the 18'th, so blog #2 will arrive shortly.

Brian & Judy - September 20'th 2008 Algonquin Club, Boston MA

This wedding was over the top and every way! Amazing couple, amazing venue, and amazing friends! You could tell there was so much effort put into making this wedding an event every one remembered forever. From the gorgeous flower arrangements that stood nearly four feet tall to Judy's stunning dress, (She looked like a princess!)
The Algonquin club was spot on every minute of the day! A big thanks to Lassaad for keeping us all in order!

A MASSIVE thanks for Brian and Judy for having us photograph their big day, Hope your honeymoon to Europe is everything you imagined! We'll never forget this wedding, no matter how many we photograph!

Kyle & Julie Ricker, September, 2008

Congrats Kyle and Julie! Your wedding was so much fun, and right up my alley, and your guests loved it too! Down and dirty yet elegant all at the same time. A mixture of friends, family, and of course animals came together for a short ceremony and a big party! Angus (Kyle and Julie's pug) made about everyone tear up ((even me and I've been to a ton of weddings))
He sat beneath Julie's feet, dressed to impress patiently waiting his next move. Then followed Kyle and Julie out of their ceremony. None of this planned mind you. It was sweet as could be.
This entire day could be a novel I swear. From the amazing rope swing stunts into the river, a little mud fighting, a horse drawn wagon, awesome color scheme and flowers and a boat load of cool people!
Everything fell into place, and we beat the rain!!!
Nothing could be better for these down home folks. Enjoy your trip to Jefferson!!
We enjoyed every minute of this wedding, It really said New Hampshire all over it!!

Josh and Jill have been together what seems to be forever. We all grew up together in the small town of New Durham. I remember them dancing at the 5'th grade dance and everything. It was almost surreal for all of us to see them get married, It was ACTUALLY happening. All throughout the day everyone was saying, OMG! They are really getting married!
Gunstock put on a great wedding!

Obviously Dan and I had a blast shooting the wedding since these are all very close friends of ours. It was an honor to do a friends wedding! It meant so much to us to photograph this wedding. To create images for such close friends, that we know will hang out their walls until the end of time is truly something special.
I will wish you two the best of luck, but I know you'll have a great married life, be excellent parents and be living in your dream house in no time.
It was great to see everyone!!

Curtis & Jaclyn ~8-8-08~

The number '8' is as lucky as you can get in numerology obsessed China. After all, 8 on its side is the symbol for infinity, which must be a good thing right?!
Curtis and Jaclyn are as laid back as it gets. Having a small gathering in a beautiful place was all they needed for their unique wedding. Held at the largest wine cellar in New England, the Stonehedge Inn located in Tyngsboro, MA on a stunning Friday night. This dreadful non stop rain seemed to let up for a couple hours, just long enough to do the ceremony and formals outside, and thats all we needed. The sky was so pretty after the storm, bright but dark and moody. Their accent color is amazing, ORANGE! Doesn't get better than this.

Tom & Carol Married July 26'th Colby Hill Inn

Tom and Carol had a sweet small wedding at the Colby Hill in located in Henniker, NH. After all the rain these days everyone was so delighted with the bright shining sun. Tom and Carol's guests were gifted with fresh picked local blueberries, a thoughtful gift I think, and also a gift of all the songs they picked for their big day. So original! I love it!
Everything fell right into place as planned and it was a beautiful wedding. I hope to see pictures of their honeymoon to the Florida Keys soon!

Dave & Bridget ~Salem Cross Inn

Remember Bridget from the Ralph's diner pinup shoot? Well we finally had the pleasure of photographing their wedding, and our first of the year. Bridget was calm as could be, even though it was thundering, lightening and raining buckets! But the rain cleared just in time for a very funny ceremony. They lightened the mood with funny readings and cracking jokes here and there. It was smooth cruising and no tears.
The Salem Cross Inn, located in West Brookfield MA was stunning. With little unique nooks and crannies everywhere it made photographing very easy. And with Dave and Bridget's amazingly fun friends the reception was a complete blast! The funniest crowd we've ever photographed for sure. Hope they have a blast on their honey moon to Hawaii and please have babies sooner than later so we can get together again soon haha. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves.

Not your average gals! Bridget opted for an awesome vintage style photoshoot with her fav gals rather than sitting on the beach holding hand with her man "in hers words" haha. These girls were awesome, comfortable in front of the camera and we had a blast! I can only imagine how fun the wedding is going to be!

Aside from weddings: Lone Star Avenue

Start of a long series.
My Grandparents, father, great grandfather and great great aunt have lived in this house, now Dan and I do.
It's an honor just to live here, but to capture the houses age, family furniture, and my this particular series is from my great great Aunt Florence's apartment that hasn't been touched since she went into the hospital and died many years ago. Toilet paper still in tact, but the wall paper completely falling off the walls.
I intend to capture the other apartment upstairs, bits from the part we live in, and more from the outside, and the garage is way cool filled with old tools, even an outhouse with 4 seats side by each. haha.

Andy and Michelle are set to wed August of 2008 in lovely CT. It was a blast to photograph them on a sunny cool day at Nahant beach. I cannot express how fun this couple really is. I grew up with Nicole and Brad in New Durham, NH. Nicki and I have been friends since elementry school. I'm glad we got to have fun with this photoshoot as its hard enough to get back to NH often, and balance family and friends at the same time. We had a ball wondering around the 75 acres of woods behind my parents house, the land i grew up on. My favorite time of a year, and a blast seeing the foliage so up close and personal. Although i spent most of my time on my back during this shoot it was well worth it! Their great personalities let me capture some great images. Thanks Brad and Nicki, I hope to make this a yearly tradition.

The September first Ceremony took place at the First Church of Christ right up the street from Jacquelines parents house in Lancaster, MA. What a perfect day for a garden reception too! The sky was as blue as it could be and it was just the right temperature. What a special day it was, Jan being from Germany had a couple dozen friends fly out for his wedding day. Jacqueline showed Jan how much she really respects him by saying her vows in German, she did an amazing job and although no one else knew what she was saying her bridesmaids were balling their eyes out, She really spoke from her heart. The reception was at her parents house, her mom Joanne did an amazing garden for the event, weeding right up until getting dressed. Luckly she squeezed time in for her nails!! Everything from the color scheme, to how you found your seats for dinner was based around the unique flowers. The gift to the guests were packets of wild flower seeds, now thats a gift to put to use!
Jacqueline and Jan are an amazing pair, showing how fun they really are all night. Jan was hilarious constantly making everyone around him laugh, and ease the tension when need be! I can't list all the special moments, from the pendant passed down by mother to daughter, to the toast given by Jacquelines sister Sydney, every moment was breath taking.

One of my personal favorite things about photography is the endless ability of editing and post processing. I take editing to a whole other level. Emotions are sparked by certain feelings, these feelings can be produced visually by effects on a picture. The first picture, part of a new series of vintage feeling iamges is suppose to bring back feelings of growing up, hollywood love, and "the way things usto be" . The second picture draws your attention right to the flowers, bringing out whats most important to Mary, especially the ring her son made for her, how special!! The last image I want to create a dreamy feeling, Marys dreams came true that day, and she should remember her wedding day like the dream she always had.

Fred & Mary

Fred and Mary were married on July 28′th at the Dan’l Webster Inn. What a gorgeous venue with the nicest people running it. Mary looked stunning in her big poofy dress, I want to thank her again for getting a beautiful wedding dress!! Everything from the jewelry to the shoes was really beautiful. Fred very much enjoyed the music all night. Dan and I enjoyed meeting the couples friends and family at the small ceremony. It was an intimate standing ceremony in the gardens. It really was something unique and special, I’m sure everyone that was there agrees. It was an honor to be apart of their special day. They are traveling to Italy in September, Jealous? Well you should be!!
The best wishes to both of you on your journey together. It was a day to remember.Thanks for a wonderful day and experience.
